Our teaching team 2025

Swiss Acro Fest is a community Festival. Our vision is it to bring acro yogis, yogis, acrobats, movers, humans from all walks of life together for a weekend full of growth and connection trough movement.

We have workshops and classes on all levels so from absolute beginner to advanced everyBODY is welcome. Next to the acro yoga, acrobatics and handstands we offer Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Exstatic Dance, Hula Hoop and Dance Workshops. We gather for singing, performances and meditation all in the beauty of the mountains of Switzerland.

Founder, Organizer and Teacher

Cate Spinnler

Cate is the founder of Swiss AcroFest. She has organized the festival with different co-organizers since 2014.

Beside creating, hosting and organizing the festival she loves share her knowledge in different classes from creative yoga to Acroyoga flows. Humor and challenges are part of her classes and the eye for the detail is never missing.

To work as a therapist sparkles a lot of joy in her life. So this facet has an influence on her teaching and moving through life.

Monika Kolb

Monika, is a performer and circus teacher. She lives a colorful life in between gyms and on stage around the world., where she travels with her son. She loves to share her knowledge of circus- and movement arts.Monika is also a co founder of the Bangkok Acro Convention.

I grew up in a gymnast family in Belgium. My journey in partner acro started touring in Europe, then settling in regular acro classes in Brussels and now facing the challenges of starting classes in rural Switzerland. I love teaching whips & Icarian!

Erica Montes

With 16 years of teaching history, Erica was one of the first AcroYoga teachers in Europe. She brings elements from her personal practices of Thai massage, Yoga, and meditation to create a wholesome acro experience in the classroom.

Venezuelan born living in between Bali and Switzerland, have been studying and teaching thai yoga massage and osteothai with Krishnatakis and david Lutt since 2013. In 2019 finished the first master osteothai. Acroyoga level 2 since 2015.

I believes that Acro is a non-verbal world language fostering trust, growth, and playful movement. Without knowing Spanish, I completed my partner acrobatics teacher training in Argentina, having the best time of my life. Can't wait to share!

Ramon is a certified Partner Acrobatics Teacher (2018 & 2019), his passion is to teach newbies and beginners the importance of trust and basics acro. And he loves to co teach more intermediat skills. Ramon is known for his Handstand love, he also builds handstand eqipment.

Program of the festival

Our program is made with love for you
- On the Thursday we offer a "day long workshop" with two different levels.
- Yoga every morning.
- Skillshops with Prehab, Handstands lab and Acro refinement.
- Every Workshop round we offer different levels of acrobatics/ Acro Yoga Workshops from beginner to advanced.
- Coaching sessions with safety lines by selected teachers
- Different movement workshops like dance, aerial silk, hula hoop etc.
- Thai Massage Workshops, jam s and a Healing Space
- Evening program with Ecstatic Dance, Manage, Music night, Acro and Thai Massage jams.
- Manage for those who would like to learn and exchange other circus and movement skills like juggeling, aerials, diabolo, poi and more...
- Music night with our musicians, bring yourself, your voice, your instrument and sind along.
- Healing Space, where you can get treatments from professional massage therapists or excange massage with other participants.
- Market Place, with handmade products from our AcroFest family.
- Clothing Swap, where you can bring your old clothes and maybe find something to take.
